The Louise - Marketing Agency Case Study
The goal was to create a sense of warmth and coziness within the brand. A place where customers could shut off, escape, and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with their families; play board games; make snow angels; and enjoy all that northern Minnesota has to offer.

Case Study: Northwoods-Inspired Brand Experience – Designing a Cozy, Escapist Visual Identity
This project was all about evoking feeling. Our client came to Ambrose Marketing with a vision: to create a brand that felt like a warm cabin in the woods—welcoming, nostalgic, and perfect for unplugging from the outside world. Whether it was curling up with hot chocolate, making snow angels, or playing board games around the fire, the goal was to bottle up that sense of family, tradition, and quiet escape—and bring it to life through design.
We focused on building a brand that captured the essence of northern Minnesota living: peaceful, grounding, and delightfully seasonal.
Our work included:
Visual identity design rooted in cozy textures, natural palettes, and timeless typefaces
Creative direction that reflected quiet moments and meaningful family experiences
Website development for a future digital launch, focused on storytelling and mood over product-first design
Brand voice guidelines to ensure that every piece of communication—digital or print—felt warm, approachable, and experience-driven
The result is a brand that invites you in like a warm blanket—nostalgic, local, and rooted in simplicity.
